ReplyDelete"This somewhat blurred photograph had been pictured about 37 years ago, at the moment when Nathuram Godse shot the Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. This picture had appeared in one of the English Daily's at that time. Jabbar Khan, owner of Nobel Tailors on Dadisheth Road near Girgaum Chowpatty, Mumbai had framed this photo in his shop as a reminiscence of the tragic moment. Our representative Ghanshyam Bhadekar was able to acquire this photo after lot of persuasions with Mr. Jabbar Khan. Aged 70, Jabbar Khan has been a famous tailor of his time. Former Governor Prakash, Sadiq Ali, Abdul Latif, Kondamadhav Reddy as well as Former Chief Minister Antulay have awarded Khan for his exemplary work."
