OLIVE OIL

People's mindsets are so difficult to understand... (Though not all...)

They intake any neon coloured drinks, or eat street food and mind you, at the clumsiest of places and never bother. But, they have innumerable questions and are sceptical to use something that's so mild and natural, on their skin with so many benefits... So, today am planning to start writing about all the benefits of the raw materials used in MY soaps, bath bombs and bath salts...

Let’s begin with the basic OLIVE OIL:

Olive oil is one of the most beneficial natural products; It is extracted from the crop of the olive tree which is native to the Mediterranean basin.

Olive oil is closer in chemical structure to the skin’s natural oil than any other naturally occurring oil.

1. Thus it acts as the perfect moisturiser especially for dry skin.
2. It can also be used to moisturise extremely dry skin prone areas like elbows and knees.
3. Olive oil has regenerative power over skin tissue and thus regular usage ensures that your skin remains soft and smooth while keeping it toned and firm
4. Helps maintain natural skin tone.
5. Rejuvenates Skin
6. Leaves skin soft and supple
7. Treats sunburn
8. Olive oil is beneficial for skin as it is rich in healthy fats antioxidants and vitamin E along with squalene and oleic acids. These help in getting rid of free radicals as well as repair the damage done due to exposure to sun. These elements are also known to reduce the chances of skin cancer as they inhibit growth of tumour cells.
9. Lightens already existent stretch marks and prevents from regenerating new ones.
10. Helps heal degenerated skin making you look younger & prevents premature aging.
11. It’s a natural sunscreen
12. Gives natural glow by enhancing blood circulation.
13. Cuticles stay moist and it helps the growth of nails and keeps nails shiny and pink.
14. Reduces inflammation if any on the body.
15. Takes care of any redness or rash after waxing or eyebrows.
